In this blog I plan to document my experience with replacing Windows Vista on my laptop with Ubuntu 9.10. I have learned to live with the many frustrations of being a Windows user, but now I've decided, why not give something else a try?

Further Prep Work
I need to finish backing up files, and then I'll be ready to go for the new install. I plan on installing the new OS on Friday after I've caught up on my work (ha!), so we'll see how it goes.
